Plan for great memories
Decide before the trip that there will be photos with you in them. It sounds obvious. It is the step everybody skips.
Pick the moment, not just the landmark
The monument will still be there in a hundred years. You at this age, with these people, on this day, will not. Pick the moments as well as the places: the table you all sat around, the street you got lost on, the two minutes before the show started.
Ask for a variety of poses
Nine photos is enough for three of each. Three relaxed, the way you actually stand. Three at your best, the model pose. And three where everybody goes a bit mad, which are usually the ones you keep.
Get somebody else to take them
A request in the app takes a few seconds, and you end up in the photographs of your own trip.
